We are seeking to add a Supervisor to our Global Compliance & Reporting Services (GCRS) practice in any of our India locations (preferrable Gurgaon).

This Supervisor position will be responsible for leading and supervising complex projects and client engagements, accountable for the client relationship as the principal client contact.

The Supervisor will support and develop team members with hands-on coaching throughout each engagement and team members' careers.


In this position, the Supervisor will be able to draw from own experience in the fields of finance, accounting/auditing, and/or tax to help clients improve their internal processes by providing services.

The following services could be included International Program Management, Business Analysis, Dashboard Reporting and Data Collection, Financial Operations and Back-office Process Analysis, Process Improvement, Fast Close, and Complex Program Management.

The priority is to focus on client service and support to pursuits. This practice line is one the most exciting and fast-paced opportunities RSM has to offer.

The GCRS practice consists of a virtual team with a concentration of team members in our Kansas City office. Team management and leadership functions are currently located in FL, KC and Germany. The team consists of self-motivated, professional and responsible individuals that practice within the Firm's Management Consulting LOB.

GCRS focuses on providing professional project/program management and coordination services with a framework to assist complex global businesses with their foreign compliance requirements.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Supervises client engagements and projects, takes ownership of the assigned team's performance and its ability to complete tasks efficiently and within agreed upon deadlines
  • Begins to develop the ability to have constructive and challenging conversations with others, including partners/directors/clients, regarding client situations, engagement risk and relationship concerns
  • Stays on top of industry trends and carry on meaningful conversations with clients. Clients want you on their engagement team
  • Develops a network of relationships with Business Developers, industry specialists, and service line leaders across the firm
  • Actively contributes to prospect meetings and client KAP (key account planning) meetings that lead to new service fees of $250k (includes referred, initiated or significant contributor)
  • Proactively and effectively addresses technical issues in a timely manner, including escalation of difficult matters, and adds value to client relationships
  • Has a personal development plan that includes obtaining an accredited project/program management certification, such as the Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), or a recognized equivalent, e.g. Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM), Six Sigma Green Belt, Scrum Master, Prince2, or other
  • Leads by example, monitors the workloads of team members and provides assistance where necessary.
  • Assists in managing performance of the team by providing timely feedback to team members on assigned engagements and projects
  • Carries out duties relatively autonomously with little supervision
  • Involved in the recruitment of team members and responsible for successful onboarding of new hires.
  • Consistently meets the firm's expectations for chargeable hours and margin
  • Ability to travel (1030% per year) post covid.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • Strong background in either audit, tax or accounting
  • International or multilocation project management experience, including multilingual capabilities (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, motivate others, process orientated, with a priority on output and delivery
  • Selfmotivated, handson approach and practical outlook to problem solving
  • Attention to detail, ability to work proactively and independently
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Excellent selfdirection and comfort working in a matrix environment
  • PMP and CPA preferred, but not required
  • Master's Degree in related field preferred, but not required.
