We have opening for ETL Testing profile with on of our client. Pls find the details below.
The QA/Testing Specialist will work closely with the Business and Delivery teams to execute the test strategy and project deliverables to meet identified business needs and deliver business value.
Key challenge is to complete test preparation & test execution on time and provide overall delivery on time without much oversight.
Work closely with Scrum and BA team members to clarify requirements, ensure testability and ability to design test cases, to provide feedback on design, both functional and technical.
Identify test cases from Acceptance Criteria for the User Stories, estimate work and participate in design analysis reviews.Required skills:
- Hands on experience in Azure data Platform mainly in ADLS, ADF, Azure DataBricks.
- Strong in SQL skills with experience writing complex data validation SQLs
- Strong database knowledge
- MS SQL Server, MySQL
- Experience in NoSQL - Mongodb MQL and Aggregation
- Experience data validation on Structure data and Semi Structure data
- Expert in Data warehouse testing - ETL & BI
- Exposure in API testing using Postman
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (desired).
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer facing ability experience
- Define the test strategy and approach.
- Write and execute system integration testing and regression test cases
- Work closely with developers, support, offshore/onshore for various testing activities including test case/script writing, clarification, data load, etc.
- Having ability to work individual with mínimal supervision
- Peer reviewing test case/Scripts within team members
- Analyse formal test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues in Azure Devops.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders
- Ability to prepare QA Estimate
- Prepare various metrics and reports like test closure report as per requirement.
- Recommend improvements to the testing processes to create efficiencies
