ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Provides CPE, Field Services & Maintenance Solutions
  • Support BT's Win New Business process
  • Respond, identify and mitigate any commercial and delivery risk in RFP/RFI
  • Create proposal/presentation for CPE & FS solution and present to customer (if necessary)
  • Ownership and creation of highlevel plans, risks and issues logs issue log, ensuring all direct or indirect teams are aligned and delivering to the plan
  • Manage and execute key programs that optimize services globally, such as Call-Off PO rollout program, nonPreferred supplier novation, etc
  • Develop strong partnerships with various business units to optimize services, suppliers' performance and increase right firsttime outcomes and support the launch of new products
  • Responsible for CPE & Field Engineering suppliers' performance

Leadership

  • Lead a small team of operational support and Partner optimisation commercial team, making clear links to the Service vision and the team purpose
  • Maintain very strong stakeholder relationships across a complex organisation, both within Global and across Group functions (e.g. Procurement, Product Line, Cisco Alliance team, Win New Business team)

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Business acumen and evidencebased decision making: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy,
  • Storytelling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences
  • Demonstrate business value added to complex bids and creative solutioning
  • Building great relationships on a global scale across large teams, key internal stakeholders, external partners and customers, driving operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent general knowledge of WAN, LAN, Cisco Products, Security, Field Services & Maintenance products, BT's compliance trading model

Knowledge of other BT portfolio such as Cloud Compute, data centre solutions will be advantageous

  • Comfortable to engage customer to understand the requirement and has a discussion with the customer on the solution that BT is proposing during a RFP
  • Responding to RFP, identifying and mitigating commercial and delivery risks
  • Work with Solution Architect, Service Designers, Quoting team, Bid Managers, Sales and Sales Specialist on a major bid
  • Supplier's performance management
  • Launching of new BT Products
  • CPE & Field Engineering operational experience

Preffered

  • Strong understanding of engineering in telecoms
  • Good grasp and understanding of logistics and supply chains
