We are looking for dynamic Academic Counsellors to join our team


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assesses student interest, aptitudes, and abilities in order to assist in academic and career planning.
  • Counsel students in developing a specific academic program including choice of major and course selections
  • Acts as a liaison of the Advisory Centre with faculty, other schools and colleges, other University offices, and regional campuses. Provides outreach to enhance student development, improve the quality of the learning environment, and counsel students to meet academic and career goals.
  • Coordinates programs for students with unique goals and needs. Serves as a resource to other academic advisors/counsellors concerning student with difficulties.
  • Plan and implement programs to help students with academic and career decisions.
  • Provide personal, vocational, and other nonacademic counselling as appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Experience in student counselling, development, education, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and updated records concerning student performance.
  • A desire to help students in their academic journey, from enrolment to graduation.

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

  • English (preferred)
