Sales executives are responsible for connecting with potential customers and other business stakeholders to negotiate prices and share details of different products and services.


Here are some of their major responsibilities:

  • Negotiating sales terms and agreements to close deals with customers.
  • Gathering customer information to understand their needs better.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and addressing concerns for successful purchases.
  • Providing suggestions for product improvements or special promotions based on customer feedback.
  • Creating proposal documents required for formal bidding procedures.
  • Inspecting inventory stock quality.
  • Offering detailed quotations and accurate cost calculations to customers.
  • Researching potential clients and generating leads through research efforts.
  • Handling inquiries/complaints from customers effectively.
  • Preparing and sending price quotes and proposals throughout the process.
  • Utilizing software programs to manage the entire sales process.
  • Establishing/maintaining CRM database.
  • Meeting daily/weekly/monthly targets set by the company.
