Job Description:


As a Freight Broker at Immensity Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, responsible for managing and facilitating the movement of freight for our clients.

Utilizing your expertise in logistics and transportation, you will be instrumental in building relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely delivery of shipments.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers to secure freight capacity
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
  • Coordinate and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Utilize industry knowledge and resources to optimize freight solutions and costeffectiveness

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Freight Brokerage or related field
  • Proven track record in negotiating rates and contracts with carriers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for logistics and freight management
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
