Job Description - Financial and Technical Analyst

The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing the FP&A model development team with analytics on variables, models, and all infrastructure related programs.

Responsibilities:

Perform analysis of Macroeconomic variables and their scenario forecasts
Understand the usage of variables in models and link variable forecasts to model constructs to evaluate the impact of variables on balance sheet and P&L
Support the FP&A Model Development team with Analytics on models, variable contribution, and review of model results in production systems
Work as part of the program management team and drive surveys, polls with modelers
Understand modeling infrastructure (SAS, Oracle, Python) and support projects with analysis (coding skills not required)
Participate in annual budget CCAR PPNR forecasts, and quarterly production processes (Quarterly Multi Year Multi Scenario Forecasts)
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
Previous experience with models / quantitative frameworks is a plus
Understanding of macroeconomic variables and their interplay is a big plus

Education:

CA/CFA/MBA with 5+ years of work experience
