    JOB TITLE:
    Technology and Security Architect


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT and security architecture to effectively support the Petrofac IT strategy.
    Responsible to Create, Run and Maintain Architecture Framework and standards.
    Conduct comprehensive reviews of projects implemented in Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices, security standards, and architectural guidelines.
    Develop and enforce governance frameworks to maintain the integrity, scalability, and security of Azure-based solutions.
    Supports all architectural disciplines and champions' architectural initiatives across the Pillars.

    Reviews existing processes and establishes metrics to improve processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.

    Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
    Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of complex integration projects involving ERP systems and Azure cloud services.
    Leads the Architecture review board and ensures that the solutions are compliant with target-state architecture models.
    Aligns architecture strategy with business goals.
    Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy.
    Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
    Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide Architecture decision making.
    Manages exceptions to architectural standards.
    Reviews and/or analyses and develops architectural requirements as needed for the Petrofac.
    Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technical solutions.
    Approves modification of the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
    Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
    Ensures recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
    Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
    Design and Implement Security Controls for any new infrastructure implementation.
    Understand and documents Security requirements from various stakeholders like Customers, Regulators, and Internal stakeholders.

    Work closely with Security, IT and vendors to ensure all implementations are according to the Security requirements of the Project and agreed specifications.

    Develop and Report metrics across all implementation projects.
    Evaluate the effectiveness of existing Architecture Framework conduct assessment and ensure compliance with Technology and Architecture Framework.


    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


    Certification in Togaf, SABSA or a similar level of Architecture certification.10 years of experience as an Technology Architect or Security Architect or in similar roles.

    Good Knowledge and certifications in Azure Cloud Architecture and Security domain.
    In-depth knowledge of various integration options available in Azure, including API management, Azure Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
    Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.

    Ability to work in a complex and large enterprise environmentAbility to interact with staff, peers and customers on a technical and professional levelExperience of working in large enterprise Project teams with proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutionsExperience in deploying large and complex projects in an enterprise environment.

    Good Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
    Should have worked on complex integration projects and should be familiar with various integration options available in Azure.
