System (Coupa) Administrator

Job Summary:


In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the Coupa P2P system within Baxter, including user administration, complex configuration changes, release management, and system testing and troubleshooting while adhering to software development lifecycle best practices.

This role will provide a key link between technical and functional teams, you will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure that Coupa is configured and maintained to meet the organization's procurement needs.

This position requires strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of Coupa functionality and integration with other procurement systems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Complex configuration including building and maintaining user roles, workflows, process forms, and reports, maintaining master data, and other similar tasks.
  • System administration including user on and offboarding, user access updates, troubleshooting of system and integration errors, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Manage short and long term projects & deliverables concurrently and independently
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure and maintain the Coupa procurement system to meet the organization's requirements
  • Governance of system and access changes, ensuring that all required approvals are captured and documented.
  • Monitor system performance and identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Coupa processes and procedures, including integration with other procurement systems and processes.
  • Complete testing during new system implementation projects and regression testing for scheduled system releases.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest projects to streamline business operations where applicable
  • Escalation point for Coupa technical issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their continued support of the Coupa system.

Qualifications:


  • Certified Coupa Administrator or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Coupa Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in Coupa configuration and administration.
  • Experience with Coupa integration with other procurement systems and processes.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements to technical solutions
  • Experience developing and delivering training material.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset
  • Fluent English speaking / written communication
