Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Security Solution Architect within the Ecosystem Engineering team focused on Data Security, you will play a pivotal role in co-developing and selling cutting-edge security solutions in a Hybrid cloud environment

Your primary responsibilities include:

Solution Design and Development:
Collaborate with GSIs and Partners to architect and develop robust data security solutions.
Design, implement, and customize security solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients in a Hybrid cloud setup.
Technical Consultation:
Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams on data security best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Conduct technical workshops and training sessions to enhance the understanding of data security solutions among stakeholders.
Collaboration with Partners:
Work closely with technology partners to integrate and optimize IBM Guardium Data Protection, Encryption, and Key Management solutions into comprehensive security architectures.
Client Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their data security needs, and proposing tailored solutions to address identified challenges.
Participate in client meetings and workshops to articulate the value proposition of our security solutions.
Solution Testing and Optimization:
Conduct thorough testing of implemented security solutions to ensure their effectiveness and resilience against potential threats.
Continuously optimize and enhance data security architectures based on emerging threats and technological advancements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Educational Background:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
Technical Proficiency:
6+ years of relevant field experience.
Demonstrated expertise in IBM Guardium Data Protection solutions.
Indepth knowledge of encryption and key management solutions.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
Proven ability to collaborate with GSIs, Partners, and internal teams to achieve common goals.
Experience in fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
Exceptional problemsolving abilities, coupled with analytical thinking to address complex data security challenges.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Security Certifications:
Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or IBM Certified Deployment Professional
Guardium.
Hybrid Cloud Environment:
Experience working with security solutions in a Hybrid cloud environment, ensuring a seamless integration of onpremises and cloudbased technologies.
