Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Requirements and skills
years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administratoror similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms and virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocol.
Educational Qualifications
- A relevant bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science, information system management, information technologyor other related field.
- Certificate of MCSE/RHCSA/OLSA is Plus
Salary:
₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
