    Description

    AUDIO DEVICE DRIVERS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • on any DSP/Embedded processor with proficiency in C/C++ programming, computer architecture, operating systems, and some of the below areas:
    • Domain Knowledge with Android or Embedded Linux is preferred.
    • software debugging skills in real time operating systems, preferably on DSP platforms.
    • use cases (e.g., playback, recording and streaming, etc.).
    • use cases (e.g., CS and PS calls).
    • for MIPS, Memory
    • pre/post processing (e.g., Echo cancellation, Noise suppression, Audio Effects)
    • compression standards (e.g., MP3, AAC, FLAC, AMR, EVS, etc.).
    • in working with tools and techniques used on DSP platforms (e.g., Trace32, JTAG, etc.).
    • Interfaces like PCM, I2S, HDMI, SPDIF

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities include optimization for DSP, developing/enhancing the framework/drivers for new use cases, drivers for audio interfaces, drive design discussions across teams, SW maintenance.

    VIDEO DEVICE DRIVERS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • understanding of signal processing, video compression\codecs (Encoder + Decoder) and other video
    • usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, and content protection.
    • processing algorithms.
    • on knowledge\experience on H.264\HEVC\VP9\MPEG family video codec(s) development, porting,
    • optimization

    Solid C\assembly programming skills, multi-threading, and OS concepts\fundamentals.

    Exposure to Automotive domain is a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:

    • and productize various video codecs solutions on processors for mobile/IOT/
    • projects
    • video, imaging Firmware solutions and help with video, imaging hardware subsystem
    • in future Processors
    • of video, imaging features and work with a wide set of teams across the company

    CAMERA DEVICE DRIVERS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • of Camera functionality and Image quality concepts

    Camera end-to-end use case design and feature implementation.

    • knowledge in data structures and working experience with C/C++ programming

    Familiarity with UNIX/Win/Linux computing platforms

    • experience with image processing algorithms. Background in colour science and image signal processor pipelines is a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • fixed-point implementations and C/C++ models for the image processing and associated infrastructure modules (to be ported in HW)
    • HW verification & SW development via behavioural model test vectors
    • processing algorithm complexity optimization and quality trade-offs

    DISPLAY & GRAPHICS DEVICE DRIVERS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Experience in the embedded domain to design, develop and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/RISC V/CPUs, Strong C/C++, Java, Python programming skills

    OpenGL/ES, DRM/KMS framework, GPU Driver, Display Panel, Framebuffer

    Solid knowledge of Driver development, HAL Layer, Frameworks and Application.

    Understanding of Display Framework, Display HAL, Surface Flinger and Display, Frame Buffer drivers

    Exposure or working experience in Display technology MIPI DSI / LVDS/ HDCP / VGA / DVI / HDMI

    Familiar with Android, Linux display subsystem.

    Good analytical and problem-solving skills

    Experience with version control tools like git, Perforce and code review tools like Code Collaborator, gerrit etc.,

    Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

    Experience in the embedded domain to design, develop and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/RISC V/CPUs, Strong C/C++, Java, Python programming skills

    OpenGL/ES, DRM/KMS framework, GPU Driver, Display Panel, Framebuffer
