Job Requirement:

Ability to read and understand engineering documentation (P&ID, siteplot plan, isometrics, plan & section views, vendor drawings, etc.)
Ability to identify & model items (e.g., process equipment, tanks/vessels, valves, instruments, pipe, pipe supports, and structural steel) in 3d environmentAveva E3d/PDMS.
Develops Piping layouts and 3D model designs for the projects using information provided in the form of data sheets, design basis Process Flow Diagrams/P&ids, Line Lists, Specifications, etc.
Knowledge of Economic Piping & Equipment layout with focus on safety, accessibility, operability, maintenance ability & constructability.
Knowledge of various Piping fittings & valves, end connection types, piping materials, inline components, piping speciality items, etc.
Understanding of different type of piping systems and their specific requirements.
Understanding of special process requirements e.g. free draining, nopocket, sloped, 2phase lines, etc.
Strong understanding of pipe support types & use as per pipe span & flexibility requirements.
Provide below jobs, Under minimum or no supervision:
3D modelling of piping systems and equipment in a 3D E3D model environment in accordance to the standards and the applicable codes.

Extraction & Preparation of Equipment Layout Drawings, Piping General Arrangement drawings, plans/sections & Load Sketches from the 3D CAD design model.

Generates detailed piping isometrics extracted

Ability to run Clash Check Analysis in 3D model and resolve clashes.

Must keep drawings and models up to date with the latest P&ID revisions., Line Lists & Equipment Vendor Drawings.

Create bills of material(MTO) for the materials of construction required for the fabrication and/or installation of equipment and piping.

Capability in the preparation of Pipe support details & layouts etc in both 2D and 3D environment.

Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping design layouts.

Review & comments on Vendor documents.

To ensure Quality of piping deliverables issued by proper flow check (yellow line check P&id).
