The Citrix Administrator role is a 24/7 rotational shift role.


Position Summary:

Major responsibilities:

  • Proactively maintain all Citrix infrastructure components for a 24x7x365 uptime service
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement Citrix environment deployments, upgrades, patches on servers
  • Troubleshooting, resolving all technical issues related to our software/networks and the range of products and services
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Sharing findings with Team and develop KB's or SOPs for general troubleshooting and management
  • Assisting in support of day to day troubleshooting related issues for users
  • Responsible for the process of provisioning and deprovisioning users
  • Responsible for the process of VDI resource changes as requested by users
  • Maintain alignment with best practices as it pertains to Healthineers IT InfoSec, Compliance and Privacy
  • Plan together with the enterprise architect new services and initiatives to identify new technologies to achieve forecasted capability demands
  • Responsible to handle changes, request, and incidents on regular basis

Qualifications Required:
BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Experience (Years): Minimum 4+ years related experience.

Technologies required:

Citrix (Version 7.15+; Citrix Cloud experience also preferred); at least 3 years of end user desktop support experience, Azure AD, PowerShell Scripting, ITIL.


Experience Requirement:

  • In depth knowledge on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
  • Extensive knowledge on Citrix App layering technology
  • Implementation and deployment knowledge on Citrix VDI's
  • Working experience in implementing Citrix on Azure
  • Experience with end user desktop support (Windows 10)
  • Demonstrated Citrix Cloud experience HIGHLY preferred
  • Demonstrated Citrix API experience preferred
  • Strong PowerShell scripting a plus (23+ years)
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Modern Authentication required
  • Cloud services and associated security demands of Azure, Office 365. Federated authentication solutions and techniques and ability to work with service provider (internal and external) developers for adopting SAML solutions within their services to be compatible with organizations demands
  • Working experience with federated IdP (OKTA or similar)
  • Knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting of network related issues
  • Solid grasp of common Protocols (such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, NAT, etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud deployment and service models
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them to technology solutions. Ability to work in a team and motivate others Strong communication, organization, problem solving and diagnostics skills
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
  • Understanding of security principles, techniques and protocols Enterprise experience working with security systems (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, antivirus)
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible work pattern to ensure that cover is provided
  • Good troubleshooting skills and experienced in handling global customers along with strong attention to detail with a customer first attitude
  • Working knowledge of patch management and change control practices.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Certification in Citrix certification Associate (CCA-V) or higher
  • Huge plus if have knowledge on SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business and Exchange (O365 Suite) or MDM Intune
