Job Purpose

Focused on tax related aspects and the role will be to support tax team. Within that apart from regular gst work the incumbent will also support on various things including standardising things and simplifying things through automation.
Principal Accountabilities

Cross checking monthly ITC availment entries in books vs GST returns

Ensuring posting of ITC reversal entries
Cross verifying Monthly GSTR1 and 3B (before filing) vis a vis balances and movement in Books
Verifying RCM details as shown in 2A vs actual RCM Liability in Books
Verification of ITC availment in books visàvis 2B Visàvis Returns
Ensuring GST recovery from Suppliers/Contractors who have been paid GST by MLDL but such suppliers/contractors did not file 1 and / or 3B. Includes debiting such contractor and working with contracts department for such recovery
Quarterly reconciliation between balances on GST portal Vs balances in Books.
Standardising steps of data extraction from SAP, different formats and working on automation through various IT Tools/packages/GSP etc available.
Tracking provisions in books for various Tax Litigations across RE Sector companies
Working with Tax Team for preparing Status of Tax Litigations on quarterly basis for Statutory Auditors
