Role Purpose

Areas (% of time)

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
1.
Product development (60%)

Preparation of Analytical method validation protocol and reports.
Literature survey for assigned projects.
Analysis of development batches and stability batches.
Writing of experiments online in Laboratory Notebooks (LNB) with all details.
Processing of raw data and calculations after completion of each analysis.
Analytical method development of drug products.
Analytical method verifications for drug substances.

2.
Timely & Quality Delievery (20%)

To plan the activities with maximum output with complete documentation and compliance.
To participate in method transfer, critical analysis activity at plant or outside testing laboratories.
To carry out any other additional / specific work given by the section head / department head.

3.
Collaboration & coordination (10%)
***- To maintain the column history card, instrument log book, chemicals / reagents / standards etc. used as per Standard Testing Procedure.

Maintain GLP Activity in Laboratories.
To act as instrument incharge for the allotted instruments and responsible for calibration and maintenance of the same.
Carry out basic trouble shooting for instrument related issue, whenever required.

4.
Self Training & Subordinate Training (10%)

Impart training with respect to instrument handling to junior colleagues.
To impart SOP training on assigned topic within the team.
To attend nominated training programs as needed.

Day to day method challenges and troubleshooting sharing with entire team.

External

Delivering Excellence, Enhance technical competencies to new techniques and technologies.
