We are looking for
Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Technical Skill Set:
Successfully handled global customer setups, deployments, and monitoring.
Experience in Architecting and Developing DevOps enabled Automated solutions.
Extensive experience with AWS services. Good to have awareness on GCP, Azure, Datacenter and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure.
Handson experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for onprem and AWS cloud
Handson experience in CI servers like Jenkins, Bamboo; version control tools like Git, Subversion (Gitlab, Github and Bitbucket), binary management tools like Artifactory, code coverage and code quality tools.
Extensive Experience on automation frameworks like Ansible/ Terraform/ Chef / Consul/ Packer.
Experience with Docker/Docker Swarm/ Kubernetes etc. is an added advantage.
Experience with one or more Unix shell scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby,etc.)
Experience including in managing Linux/Unix platforms
Application server administration (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.),
DNS, Networking, Linux system configuration and administration (CentOS, RedHat, etc.)
Good handson experience with monitoring tools geared towards user experience and deep diagnostics (ELK, Splunk, Graylog, New Relic, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). If you have built your own then we would love to see it.
Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details such as JIRA, ITMS, OTRS or Service Now.
Mentoring juniors in the team and providing technical guidance toplete their tasks on time.
Strong team player and collaborate well within the team and partner teams in engineering to design and rollout the processes
Goodmunication skills, conflict resolution skills and problemsolving skills
Strong debugging skills

Job Role

Role of the position:

Build extensive automation framework for orchestration & setup.
Awareness with AWS, Dockers and/or Linux Containers.
Assist in an automated rollout of new product features.
Function well in a fastpaced, rapidlychanging environment.
Speed up the environment setup & restore.
Drive efficiencies in engineering & Production environment management.
Achieve CI/CD across the environment with automation engines.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind. Manage SLA and Uptime in Production.
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
Strong focus on SRE principles and ensure that we setup robust monitoring framework to deal with any sort of scaling challenges proactively.
Team members would look up to this role for technical guidance and mentorship.
