  • Registration with NOTTO for CADAVER Retrieval and sharing including maintaining a CADAVER transplant waiting list as laid down by NOTTO.
  • Getting Legal documentation done and Clearances along with safe keeping of the Legal Records for the stipulated time as laid down by the law.
  • To communicate with donors, patients, and health team member to ensure comprehensive documentation, including informed consent of potential organ donor and transplant recipient.
  • To analyze medical data of potential organ donors and transplant recipient from medical and social records, physical examination, and consultation with health team member to perform preliminary physical assessment.
  • To schedule recipient and donor laboratory tests to determine histocompatibility of blood or tissue of recipient and donor.
  • To solicit medical and community group for organ donors and assists medical team in retrieval of organs for transplantation.
  • To coordinate in hospital service and counsels recipient and donor to alleviate anxieties and assist recipient and donor throughout procedure.
  • To advise post operative patient on therapies for managing health after transplant and serves as team member to monitor and assist progress of patient and offer advice and assistance to patient following transplant.
  • To assist in the review of death records, meet with, prepare report for hospital administrators and plan & prepare educational programs for hospital personnel on the identification and referral of potential organ and tissue.
  • To assist in the approval from authorization committee.
To perform any other duty assigned to you from time to time
