Singh Associates is a repeated Indian Railway contactor since 2007.

Over the years, the group has undertaken many challenging projects and accumulated skills, know-how and experiences in design and build solutions of underpass, bridge work, and related engineering works.


Today, Singh Associates takes on the role of main contractor for medium to large scale Indian Railway Construction Projects specializing constructing underpass though pick & carry and pushing technique.


Singh Associates has successfully completed many technically challenging projects under its name and has been awarded DRM award by the president of India for the same.

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Providing prices for all materials included in project plans and drawings
  • Creating Purchase Orders
  • Keeping detailed records and maintaining well‐organized work schedules
  • Assessing the reliability of sub‐contractors and suppliers
  • Dealing effectively with challenges with suppliers and the flow of materials
  • Providing advice to the project engineer/manager on the predicted cost of individual items
  • Liaising closely with the superiors at the tendering stage to ensure that an accurate project cost is provided
  • Preparing and maintaining cost reports in order to maximize efficiency within the business
  • Negotiating and agreeing the most favorable terms possible with suppliers once a contract has been secured
  • Conducting research on potential products, vendors, supplier and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal
  • Meeting with vendors and suppliers to negotiate the best contracts
  • Liaising with delivery and site teams to ensure goods are received on time
  • Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock as required
  • Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
  • Updating all records of purchased products
  • Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses.
  • Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders

Skills:


  • In Depth knowledge and understanding of construction materials (Must Have)
  • Should have a working knowledge and ability to read CAD drawings
  • Great communication skills

Qualification:


  • Diploma in Construction/Construction Management or Similar

Location and Shift details:


  • The work timings will be 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (6 Days Week).
  • Should be willing to work overtime and on weekends IF REQUIRED.
