Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and production requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand job requirements.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for each job.
- Program and edit CNC code to efficiently produce parts within specified tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control, to optimize production processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
