Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
- Expert knowledge of
PostgreSQL - Ability to ensure system scalability, security, performance and reliability
- Experience with setting up and maintaining replication, backups, and recovery processes
- Ability to work with a team in the handson development of database solutions, including the need to understand business, technology, and architecture requirements
- Knowledge of modeling tools to document database designs
- Experience maintaining production databases, including patch and release management, analyzing system performance; identifying problems and implementing solutions; reviewing and tuning complex SQL statements
- Experience in data analytics and generating business statistics
- Experience with importing data from a variety of sources, including external files and various Foreign Data Wrappers.
- Experience with
cloud services, particularly AWS - Experience with virtualized containers such as Docker
- Python knowledge a plus
- Expert
level SQL, Pl/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. - Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON
- Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Salary:
₹800, ₹1,600,000.00 per year
