The Role Responsibilities

  • Follow a structured approach to software delivery within the team
  • Align with the development plans and change agenda of greater team
  • Participate in and drive through system requirements gathering, especially in the context of adhering to BDD/TDD principles
  • Manage dependencies of all technical deliverables
  • Enforce sound technical standards adherence in all deliverables
  • Actively own quality of all software written and adhere to rigorous quality standards
  • Be active in suggesting positive change for peers and partner teams
  • Advocate best practice release and change management protocols for developments consisting of multiple streams.
  • Take ownership and accountability of software deliverables

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge in Agile Development (exp in CI/CD/TDD/BDD, SCRUM, KanBan etc)
  • Min 5 years' experience Software development and min 2 yrs in team Management & project management.
  • Strong knowledge in Agile methodologies and experience in facilitating the ceremonies.
  • Should have strong knowledge in Agile software delivery
  • Experience with leveraging advanced features and tools in Atlassian software suite
  • Passion and flair for technology, at home with teamoriented, collaborative, and consultative environment
  • Proven skills in coordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams.
  • Should have good experience in conduction Scrum of Scrum, tracking the actions items, highlighting the risks, tracking project plan as per the milestones.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and regulatory delivery
  • Good knowledge on Release management and deployment coordination activities
  • Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Should have a good analytical skills.
  • Contribute to creation of standards & frameworks for the project
  • Should have the capability to handle more than one project at a same time.

  • Awareness and understanding of Retail business, the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

  • Awareness and understanding of Agile s/w development process, change and release management process

  • Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback & handling work allocations for direct reports & reviewing the same for indirect reports.
  • Responsible for managing the career growth, motivation & retention for the assigned group
  • Skill to coordinate resources and teams from different countries
  • Good Stakeholder Management Skills

Risk Management

  • Awareness and understanding of Risk management process
