Insurance broking firm is looking for an Insurance Underwriter at Mumbai Marine lines

Should have knowledge of General and Fire Insurance

Roles and responsibilities

New Business Processes:

  • Receiving /Uploading Proposal Forms
  • Information data entry
  • Insurance Quote Creations
  • Proposal Generation
  • Issuing Insurance Policies
  • Policy Maintenance and Administration Services

Policy Checking

  • Reviewing policy documents for complete and genuine information
  • In case of renewals, make sure the policy matches the proposal or previous term policy
  • Variance recording based on detailed review findings
  • Revision of policy document based on variance reported to carriers and the entire insurance commission management
  • Delivery of final policy document without and reported variances
Evaluate the risks involved in insuring Jewellery and establish pricing for a risk


Assume the risk of a future event and charge premiums in return for a promise to reimburse the client an amount in the event damage or occurs.

Maintaining good relationship with Insurance companies.

Follows through on commitments made to customers and strives to provide a great customer experience

Gathers and evaluates information to take decisions which will enhance the effectiveness of the department

Ensure inwarding, policy issuance, dispatch are done as per agreed timelines.


Skills required:


  • Good communication skills. 2.Flexible & adaptable to change. 3.Well versed with MS Office. 4.Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Should have worked with Insurance broking firms.


Salary:
₹22, ₹25,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
