Key Responsibilities:
Needs Assessment:
Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective students to understand their academic aspirations, career goals, and educational preferences.
Sales Pitch:
Use persuasive communication techniques to highlight the benefits of enrolling in the institution's programs, emphasizing how they align with the student's goals.
Advisory Role:
Act as an academic advisor, guiding students in selecting the most suitable program, courses, and specialization based on their interests and career objectives.
Objection Handling:
Address any concerns, objections, or questions that prospective students may have, providing satisfactory solutions and information.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with each prospective student in the institution's database or customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Sales Targets:
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and enrollment goals by converting prospective students into enrolled students.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of education and sales.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on industry trends, educational programs, and competitor offerings to provide the most relevant information to students.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills. Empathy and the ability to understand and address the unique needs of each student.
Knowledge of the institution's programs and educational offerings. Familiarity with CRM software and data management tools.
Goaloriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
Ability to work independently and remotely. Telesales academic counselors play a vital role in assisting students in making informed decisions about their education and career paths while contributing to the institution's enrollment and growth objectives
