    Guidepoint Insights enables clients to make better-informed decisions through well-researched and skillfully moderated teleconferences, in-person events, and its teleconference transcript library. Comprised of former investment professionals and sell-side equity research analysts, the content generated from the Insights Team features experts from Guidepoint's proprietary global network and covers a wide range of topics to facilitate investment research.

    We are looking to add an experienced Digital Medical / Scientific Copy Editor to join our team. Guided by superior proofreading skills, sharp editorial judgment, keen scientific and clinical data awareness, and digital savvy, this person would help manage and maintain the company's growing digital library of health care knowledge base by ensuring that all supporting text reflects Guidepoint's standards for quality and accuracy.

    Job Title: Digital Medical Writer / Scientific Copy Editor

    Job Location : Mumbai (BKC)

    Work Model: Hybrid

    Responsibilities:

  • Exercise outstanding editorial judgment to guarantee timely, high-quality output of client-generated, client-facing healthcare transcripts, highlights, key questions and summaries: conversations between analysts and subject-matter experts
  • Proofread text and perform basic copy edits for consistency, accuracy, and clarity based on AP style, in-house style, and fundamental grammatical standards
  • Work closely with analysts / moderators to ensure transcripts, highlights, key questions and summaries reflect without any personal bias the views of the subject-matter experts.
  • Monitor and generate reports to make sure transcripts, highlights, key questions and summaries are delivered on-time.
  • Develop standards for highlights, key questions and summaries.

    • Qualifications:

  • Masters's degree or Preferably PhD in life sciences preferred with 2+ years' experience in Medical Writing.
  • Working knowledge of AP writing styles; experience following in-house guideline
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communications describing scientific and/or clinical data.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office or equivalent suites, CRM and/or CMS systems, and business communication and collaboration platforms
  • Proven ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive attitude
