About the role:

This role reports to Ed Cavanaugh in the Fund Research Editorial Services team of the Copy Desk. There are copy editors in various countries. This does not have a matrix reporting structure.

In this role, you will edit a broad range of materials produced by the Research group for use across the Morningstar platforms.

Job responsibilities:

Edit materials for consistency and correctness in AP style, grammar, spelling, logic, and content under deadline pressure.
Help manage the editorial workflow through several content management systems.
Ensure copy is formatted properly and meets Morningstar's standards and style.

Qualifications:

Excellent editing skills as demonstrated through experience and the successful completion of Morningstar's editing test.
Ability to edit for content.
Strong English-language skills.
Strong organizational skills to manage workflow, multitask, take on new projects, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor's degree is required.
At least three years of previous experience.

Nice to have:

Experience with InDesign, Excel, and basic chart building is helpful.
