Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Domain Knowledge in Connected Solutions / EDGE solution areas with responsibilities in Solution Design / Defense, & Delivery Excellence ( 30 % & 70%) for clients in ISA markets

Industry exposure of 5 years in the above domains in Smart Mobility, Connected Vehicles. EDGE technologies etc
Previous implementation / Delivery experience on Cloud technologies, Kubernetes in solutions covering Smart Mobility, Connected Vehciles, autonomous Driving or IOT Solutions
Consulting assignments with clear KPI Improvement objectives in Operations Management
IOT related solution skills with ability to do digital road map for connected devices in Vehicles, Devices and Appliances
Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in Domain / Industry. 5 years' experience in consulting organization is an added plus
Excellent written and verbal skills with an ability to communicate to all levels of an organization
Travel is required ( approx. 30 % )

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
An architect preferably as a Microservices Architect using Open Source & Commercial tools.

Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
Ability to effectively articulate and match technical approach to business need.
Sound knowledge and hands on experience on Microservices tenets (Circuit Breakers, Chaos Engineering, Service Mesh and Headless & Server less architecture, Microservices transaction patterns etc.)
Ability to implement Microservices using NodeJs.
Good knowledge about containerbased deployment.
Good knowledge about API gateway, API management and API documentation.
Knowledge of modern DevOps methods and tooling.
Ability to design APIs and follow API standards, error handling, web methods for customer consumption.
Hands on experience of technically leading and delivering midsize projects of similar nature and complexity involving multiple stakeholder and third parties
