Description
Strong working experience in L2 support with Unix shellscripting environment and development experience

  • Should be strong in SQL queries
  • 4+ years of experience in supporting project with ticketing tools
  • Prioritize Alerts based on severity and type
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis by analyzing the issue and the code to determine impact Assign to Dev team with RCA findings
  • Timely escalation to Dev team in case of high priority issues that L2 team needs support on
  • Systematic and timely communication to stakeholders across various channels based on severity of the issue
  • Weekend Maintenance support monitor critical alerts attend to any escalations from Helpdesk and Production management teams on a need basis

Primary Skill:


  • Prior Work experience of 46 yrs in production support is mandatory
  • ITIL Certification is an added advantage.
- knowledge on unix commands and shell scripting.
- knowledge on MySQL, SQL.

  • Should have Banking domain knowledge (Experience in banking domain would be added advantage)
- willing to work 24/7 shifts in rotation to take care of operations.

  • Should have practiced in incident management(ITIL V3 certification would be added advantage)
  • Willingness to learn new stack technologies.
  • Batch monitoring, tracking & Escalation to upstream/ Downstream Apllications
  • Monitor SLA's in designated shifts and meeting SLA
  • Understanding business & operational urgency and prioritizing recovery and interim/permanent resolution.

Secondary Skill:


  • Troubleshoot server errors, alerts and warnings and develop bug fixes, respond to user issues, and monitor the performance of the Unix OS and network.
  • He or she coordinates with internal and external customers for execution of projects to understand and record its smooth operations at customer end. The role of Unix Developer involves performing analysis and evaluation of customer requirements.
