Experience of 1 year as
English, Maths, Science, Social Science, and Computer Science Editor in a publishing firm
(k-12):

  • Editorial role in school books (k-10) will be preferred
  • Teaching experience will be an added advantage
  • Fluency in English (writing/reading/speaking)
  • An eye for detail along with critical and logical thinking
  • Ability to handle projects independently
  • Efficiency and knack for working in an atmosphere of multitasking
  • Good presentation skills
  • Develop/revise content for the academic books according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
  • Proofread of content developed to check the correctness of grammar, word spellings.
  • Check content (e.g. text, screenshots, artwork, etc.) for accuracy and ensure that it complies with copyright and privacy regulations.
  • Ensure quality control at every stage of the editorial and production process.
  • Plan, develop, prioritise and implement the publishing process ensuring that books/products/solutions are published within set deadlines and are of the best quality.

Pay:
₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Central, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
