What You will do Everyday?
Strategic

  • Analyze & Formulate sales strategy in line with the overall business strategy by providing the required analysis of the sales performance data across locations and product segments
  • Data gathering & analyzing of the Annual Sales Plan for the Company in terms of regional targets (revenue, volumes, and tonnage), targeted key accounts, productwise & segmentwise targets, new customer acquisition targets, etc. along with the Senior Manager
  • Sales Planning & Support.
Financial

  • Assist the Senior management in development, evaluation and roll out of the annual sales forecast and sales budget; Also monitor the sales to budget variance analysis
  • Analyze collection and sales related data
  • Supporting Senior Manager-Sales Planning & Analysis with data regarding sales performance, opportunities in the market as well as gap areas that can be addressed.
Operational

  • Ensure Availability of all MIS generation related to sales data
  • Provide customized reporting in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives
  • Provide reports on sales performance as per the Annual Sales Plan and highlighting deviations, if any
  • Provide sales trends and analyze actual sales performance against set targets; Highlight deviations from plan to the Senior Management
  • Gather Data & Analyze to ensure administration of various Sales Incentive Schemes for the organization
  • Support the Senior Manager
  • Sales Planning & Support with respect to data required during representation in various cross business unit (XBU) forums/ initiatives like ICC, GCS, GMNC, etc.
  • Provide areas of improvement in Salesforce & Sales KPI
People

  • Provide direction, guidance and support to subordinates to help them discharge their duties effectively
  • Monitor the performance of subordinates on a continuous basis to identify key performers and mentor and coach them effectively

Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators

  • Drive the Annual Sales Planning Processes for the Organization
  • Provide accurate data needed for the Annual Sales Plan as per timelines
  • Drive Sales Process Efficiency
  • Execute Sales KPIs as per defined timelines
  • Analyze sales performance against the sales plan on a monthly / quarterly basis and send updates to Senior Manager
  • Sales Planning & Analysis
  • Develop Alerts/ reminders to dealers /field on nonadherence/gaps in meeting sales plan
  • Represent the Organization in Various XBU Initiatives and Forums
  • As per requirements
  • Drive design and implementation of various sales incentive schemes
  • Gather Data & Analyze
  • Prepare reports on sales incentive schemes as per timelines
  • Ensure adherence to incentive scheme details / policy (Number of instances of deviations found in audit)
  • Ensure Performance Driven Culture
  • Adherence to Performance Management system timelines and guidelines

Also possessing technical proficiency in Excel, Power BI and the management of extensive data sets.
