The opportunity


By joining GDS Operations Management CoE and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong.

As an Operations professional, you will work across teams both onshore and offshore to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability.


Your key responsibilities

  • Receive and acknowledge requests assigned
  • Accurately set up new engagements and communicate new codes within agreed timelines
  • Set up billing information and billing schedules for future billing and process amendments accurately
  • Timely prepare invoices in accordance with agreed billing process until closing of engagements
  • Update engagement budget/s as needed
  • Create entries and fulfil necessary updates in Interaction (CRM).
  • Follow firm's guidelines and processes
  • Monitor engagement health
  • Track request process in the workflow management tool as well as other trackers maintained by the team
  • Provide updates to requestors and reply to their queries in a timely manner
  • Handle request volumes and maintain high quality service
  • Work closely with EY Regional Business Managers, Location Managers, Client serving people, Mercury business advisors, Onshore team and Executive assistants
  • Provide coverage & support to the team members to meet set timelines and in managing key deliverables

  • Capable of engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders, understanding the objectives of their programs/initiatives.
  • Interact effectively and maintain good rapport among a diverse group of team members, customers, and colleagues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
  • Interact directly with the clients to capture first level requirements for the projects/processes
  • Effectively handle routine tasks including followup and respond appropriately to unexpected situations
  • Demonstrate best work practices within department and among other teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Excellent Conceptual & Analytical Skills
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and eager to analyse and solve complex process cases
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including responsiveness and commitment to quality
  • Strong and highly motivated work ethic
  • Ability to perform well prioritized tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Graduate / Postgraduate degree (Ideally in Commerce/Finance streams)
  • 2 to 4 years of work experience in a CRM based environment
