Job Description:

The role holder must be accountable for defining:
BSS Solution Architecture
Integration Architecture
Enterprise Data Model
Deployment Architecture

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for all the Architectural artifacts, including defining Target Architecture for BSS
Must have a good understanding of the end to end eco system for BSS Domain
Responsible for designing solutions based on COTS or Custom built solutions.
Ensure traceability between IT requirements to design and manage requirement changes during the design and development lifecycle
Development of roadmap for the evolution of the architecture planning and integration of legacy environments into a transformed environment
Lead design discussions and review LLDs from the vendors / IT development teams

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in Telecom BSS working with System Integrators OR inhouse IT teams.
5 + years as BSS Architect doing design and architecture of large enterprise systems a large part of which should be in developing solutions for Telecom Service Providers.
Experience of 2+ Systems Integration BSS programs as an architect
Must have experience of 2 leading COTS like Salesforce/Vlocity, CloudSense,
Experience of minimum 1 implementation using Agile/DevOps
Knowledge of telecom products in B2C/B2B domains in mobile & fixedline technologies
Understanding of E2E BSS domain including CRM, Billing, EPC, Order Management etc.
Understanding of TM Forum frameworX standards eTOM, OpenAPI
Good communication and Presentation skills
Should demonstrate the ability to steer very large programs in the oversight of IT performance
Map and cultivate symbiotic relationships with senior leadership (CXOlevel) within the organization and in the client organization
Should have the capability to manage (technical) conflicts among different stakeholders with the objective of achieving the optimal design

Desired

Knowledge of 5G & IoT
Experience of working on Customer Experience related projects
Working on BPM and integration aspects
Knowledge of DevOps and open source tools
Experience in any one of the programming languages
Java or Python
Experience in any one of the DB technologies
Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra
Preferable to have presales experience of target System Integration proposals
