Job Summary:

As a Safety Supervisor for our company, you will be responsible for overseeing safety procedures and protocols at construction sites to ensure the well-being of all personnel.

Your role will involve supervising safety stewards, conducting inspections, providing training, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organisation.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Supervise safety stewards and ensure they are effectively carrying out their responsibilities.
Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide guidance and support to site supervisors and workers on safety-related matters.
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance documentation.
Communicate safety requirements, initiatives, and updates to all levels of the organization effectively.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and coordination with emergency services.
Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and standards relevant to the construction industry and ensure company compliance.
Promote a strong safety culture by fostering awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree / diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, with a focus on safety.
Indepth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
Familiarity with construction processes, equipment, and materials.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA certification) preferred.
First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
Salary Range to 4.00 lakhs

Salary:
₹300, ₹400,000.00 per year
