The BI Architect develops, tests and maintains the NICE CXone software platform.

Key responsibilities include all tiers of the NICE CXone technology, including (but not limited to) design and development of NICE CXone products and features, unit testing, code reviews, resolving defects encountered during the QA cycle, supporting the production environment, and assisting other developers in a team environment utilizing agile development processes.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the architecture of a product. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and working closely with all the engineering functions and the scrum teams.
You will drive an open and extendible architecture, ensuring relevant technology solutions are being adopted, good engineering practices are implemented, and the overall system design and architecture is kept while we develop new features to the market. You will have a key role in fostering innovation and ensuring adoption of new technologies as needed.

You are expected to be very hands on and have an indepth technical understanding of enterprise software architecture

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Overall responsibility for the product architecture, Establish well architected and designed solution
Enhance Product by ensuring that the MicroStrategy capabilities are being fully leveraged
Provide technical assistance on future enhancements, such as MicroStrategy version upgrades, project rollouts, architecture modifications, and new reports.
Knowledge of other BI Tools like Amazon QuickSight will be advantage.
Create / validate internal training materials to support onboarding and adoption of new MicroStrategy users.
Working with several scrum teams and actively involved in the design of multiple features in parallel
Drive for continuous improvement including adoption of new technologies while exploring the market needs
Passion to educate and mentor others in engineering best practices and patterns, team player.
Establish and manage engineering processes, best practices, and continuous improvement, aligned with Agile-Scrum methodology
Taking an active part in in envisioning of next gen product plans to achieve longer term strategic objectives of the organization
Working with team in multiple geo locations
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to influence others, especially in sensitive or complex situations

Basic Qualifications / Education:

12+ years of software development experience, at least 5 of them developing in enterprise software
3+ years of experience as a software architect

Preferred:
Certified MicroStrategy v10+ Architect and/or exposure to other tools like AWS Quick Sight

Preferred:

Experience with installation and configuration of MicroStrategy components including MicroStrategy Desktop, Administrator, Intelligent Server and Web in Container environment.

Preferred:

5+ years of MicroStrategy and/or Amazon QuickSight experience including experience designing schema objects

Substantial capabilities in the domain, analyses information and deduces conclusions within the professional space, seen as a professional by his team and peer community.
Has highattention to details and works well in a dynamic and intense environment.
Experience in developing high performance, highly available and scalable enterprisegrade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.
Good Exposure in Java/J2EE technology stack
Deep knowledge and experience with software design patterns and how they can be incorporated into software design.
Experience in developing and supporting multitenant software delivered asaService (SaaS). Preferably hosted in public cloud.
Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience in working with performance engineering team to design and execute performance test plan and resolve performance issues
Experience with Open-Source Software (OSS) technology frameworks, platforms, and tools
Experience with enterprise Secure SDLC implementation comprising of static code analysis, vulnerability and licensing scan, penetration testing, etc.
