Wego is looking for a finance associate with experience in Travel Agency Reconciliation to join our team.This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to advance their career and work with a dynamic, growing company.
As a finance associate with credit card reconciliation experience, you will be responsible for:- Performing daily and weekly reconciliation of flights/hotels/activities suppliers
- Handling the Lowcost Carrier reconciliation and reporting
- Handling the Payment gateway/PSP reconciliation
- Handling the Virtual Credit Card reconciliation and reporting
- Handling Airline BSP reconciliation/payments and statement
- Following up with stakeholders on reconciliation discrepancies
- Providing regular reports in relation to account reconciliation status and discrepancies as well as system malfunction or/ and abnormal events
- Identifying and report areas of improvement on ongoing processes
- Managing ad hoc controlling duties or project assignments regarding data reconciliation or business performance
- Booking the supplier invoices & payments into the accounting system in a timely basis
- Assisting in monthend closing accounting & preparation of audit schedules
- Other adhoc duties
You would require:
- 2 years of working experience in a travel Industry position in accounting / finance environment
- Must have knowledge about ADM/ACM/PLB target and GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus)
- Degree in Finance/ Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Can do approach, selfmotivated, take ownership and issue management techniques.
