Key Responsibilities:


Product Knowledge:


  • Thoroughly understand the features, benefits, and specifications of the product or service being promoted.
  • Stay updated on product updates, pricing, and any relevant information

Customer Engagement:


  • Approach customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Initiate conversations and build rapport to understand customer needs and preferences.\
  • Provide information about the product or service and answer customer questions.

Demonstration and Sampling:


  • Demonstrate the product's usage or benefits to potential customers.
  • Offer product samples when applicable to allow customers to experience the product firsthand.

Sales Techniques:


  • Utilize effective sales techniques, such as upselling, crossselling, and closing deals.
  • Overcome objections and concerns raised by customers to encourage purchases.

Visual Merchandising:


  • Ensure that the product display area is attractive and well organized.
  • Arrange products and promotional materials to maximize visibility and impact.

Sales Reporting:


  • Keep accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
  • Provide daily or periodic sales reports to supervisors or management.

Target Achievement:

  • Work towards achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas set by the company.
  • Participate in sales incentive programs and promotions.

Customer Feedback:


  • Gather and relay customer feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams.
  • Suggest improvements based on customer input.

Product Replenishment:


  • Monitor product stock levels and request replenishment when needed.
  • Ensure that products are always available for customers.

Day-to-day Store Activities:


  • Ensure proper merchandising of stock in accordance with the plan.
  • Confirm availability of all listed articles at the store.
  • Maintain the minimum order quantity for each article.
  • Adhere to store guidelines for product communications.
  • Display all offer signages in the store.
  • Possess good product knowledge.
  • Follow proper sampling techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager to discuss daily and monthly targets, as well as incentive plans.
  • Ensure proper FIFO management.
  • Execute RTV for nearexpiry or damaged stocks and inform the ASM or Officer about the pickups.
  • Monitor daily sales and inventory to prevent shortages and pilferage.
  • Explore opportunities to place stock in other sections, coordinating with the store and BTC team.
  • Stay updated on Category managers, team hierarchy by account, and build strong business relationships with all modern trade accounts.
  • Enforce grooming standards

Additional Skill/Qualification:


  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a bachelor's degree).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and persuasive personality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the product or industry may be required.
  • Basic computer skills for sales reporting and data entry.
