Responsibilities:


  • Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
  • Lead engineering efforts related to Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing and deployment of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Design frameworks and best practices to deploying automations via pipelines into both Could Environment(AWS, GCP, Azure) and Containerised environments (K8s, Docker Swarm).
  • Define the development pipeline to ensure that software development flows match operational testing and deployment goals.
  • Work within Agile framework to identify, create, design, and integrate processes for repeatable, automated software delivery.
  • Work with Security Architects to define and develop plans with respect to security of infrastructure/environments on Cloud environment.
  • Deploy solutions on Micro Services architecture in enterprise environments.
  • Identify and initiate development of metrics and dashboards to monitor adoption and maturity of Dev Ops.
  • Be an Innovation and Automation advocate : Always look for ways to get better and efficient when it comes to CI/CD
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively design crossfunctional deployments or triage efforts. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Reviewing technical operations and Provide mentoring and oversight to other DevOps team members in implementing recommended solutions for process automation and in designing and delivering best practices
  • Ability to write technical documentation, describe processes and solutions accurately, and break down complex technical information into clear and concise instructions.

What you need to bring:


_Education and Experience Required:
_


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering steams such as Computer Science, EEE, ECE, IT or equivalent.
  • At least 15+ years of overall software development / deployment / Infra experience
  • Cloud & other Architect level industry certifications ( AWS / GCP / Azure, Security etc)

_ Knowledge and Skills:
_


  • At least 15+ years of overall software development experience
  • 810 years of DevOps experience with architect level expertise in AWS and also familiarity and good working knowledge and exposure to with other CSP's like GCP or Azure.
  • At least 2+ years' experience working in the role of a Dev Ops Architect, leading & managing major deployment and Infra in Enterprise / IT
  • 7+ years scripting/automation experience with Bash, Python, Perl, and/or other scripting languages.
  • Strong CI/CD experience with code build, source control, testing, continuous integration and delivery using standard DevOps CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git/AWS Codecommit, Travis CI).
  • Experience with containerization and source control (Docker/Docker Hub/Helm) and container orchestration (K8s, Docker Swarm).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code projects using Terraform/AWS Cloudformation.
  • Experience designing / developing Ansible Playbooks/Jenkins automation for infrastructure automation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple DevOps related tools and technologies (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub/ AWS Codecommit, Jenkins, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic/Datadog, Humio/ELK, etc.)
