    Description

    Role: Scala Developer

    Experience: 5+ Years

    • You have a curious mindset, frequently delving into the mechanisms of the tools and libraries you utilize to comprehend their functionality.

    Required skills:

    • Demonstrable knowledge of software engineering best practices, such as TDD, Agile Development, and Continuous Integration.
    • Proficiency in Scala and proficiency in at least one other JVM language.
    • Experience with Akka HTTP for developing microservices.
    • A solid grasp of fundamental DevOps practices, including familiarity with containers like Docker.
    • Familiarity with the Linux environment.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience with Scala libraries following the functional programming paradigm (e.g. Typelevel Cats Effect, ZIO, etc.).
    • Experience with a major cloud provider like AWS, Azure, or IBM.
    • An understanding of Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
    • Knowledge of reactive programming.
    • Experience working in a team environment.
