The Transport Incharge at the school is responsible for overseeing all transportation-related activities to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students, faculty, and staff to and from the school campus.

The Transport Incharge will manage the school's transportation fleet, drivers, routes, schedules, and maintenance to uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:


Fleet Management:


  • Maintain a fleet of school buses, vans, or other vehicles used for transportation.
  • Ensure all vehicles are in proper working condition, regularly serviced, and comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.

Driver Supervision:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise bus drivers and other transportation staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers to maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure all drivers possess valid licenses and necessary qualifications.

Route Planning and Scheduling:


  • Develop efficient transportation routes and schedules to optimize fuel efficiency, minimize travel time, and accommodate the needs of students and staff.
  • Adjust routes and schedules as needed to accommodate changes in enrollment, traffic conditions, or special events.

Safety and Compliance:


  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for all transportation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing school transportation, including driver licensing, vehicle inspections, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for drivers and passengers.

Communication and Coordination:


  • Communicate transportation schedules, changes, and updates to students, parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Coordinate with school administrators, teachers, and other staff to address transportationrelated concerns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for parents regarding transportation issues or inquiries.

Budget Management:


  • Develop and manage the transportation budget, including expenses for fuel, maintenance, personnel, and equipment.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities without compromising safety or service quality.

Pay:
₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
