  • Develop creative and functional landscape designs that incorporate
elements such as plants, trees, hardscapes (e.g., pathways, patios),
water features, and outdoor lighting.

  • Use computeraided designs utilising software and other tools to create
detailed plans and renderings.

  • Ensure that designs align with local regulations, zoning codes, and
environmental guidelines.

Plant Selection and Layout:

  • Choose appropriate plants, trees, and shrubs based on site conditions
and client preferences.

  • Plan the layout and arrangement of vegetation to achieve desired
aesthetics and functionality.

Materials Selection:

  • Specify materials for hardscapes, including pavers, stones, and other
construction materials.

  • Consider factors such as durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal.

Cost Estimation:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects.
  • Work with clients to finalize project scope and budget constraints.

Project Execution:

  • Execution and implementation of landscaping projects, coordinating
with contractors or internal and subcontractors.

  • Ensure that designs are executed according to specifications and
within the allotted budget and timeframe.

  • Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into
landscaping projects, such as water conservation and native plant
selection.

  • Advise clients on irrigation systems and maintenance practices to
promote sustainability.

Project Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of project plans, contracts, permits, and any
changes to the original design.
