- Analyse the source and target Jira instances to identify data structures, custom fields, workflows, and configurations.
- Create a data mapping document to ensure accurate migration of data.
- Configure the target Jira instance to replicate the source instance's configurations, including custom workflows, issue types, and permission schemes.
- Implement any necessary customizations to accommodate the migration.
- Ensure data integrity and resolve any data migration issues promptly.
- Conduct thorough testing of the migrated data to validate its accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, configurations, and any custom scripts or tools used.
- Create user guides and training materials for postmigration support.
