Excellent opportunity as a "Special Educator" from a well reputed school located near IFFCO Metro Station.

Designation:
Special Educator

Salary Range: 3-3.6 LPA
(A special educational needs (SEN) teacher is specifically employed to work with children and young people who need extra support (learning disabled, autistic, hyperactive). SEN teachers may work with individuals who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties.)


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans
  • Keep track of and reflect on students' progress
  • Monitor children's behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
  • Find engaging activities to teach skill
  • Prepare students for transition to the next grade
  • Inform parents about their children's performance and potential problems
  • Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities

Requirements:


  • Graduation/Diploma in Special Education.
  • Min. 2 years experience as Special Educator from well reputed school.
  • Good knowledge of current special education topics and methodologies
  • Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
