The company functions with separate Pharma, Technology, Nutraceuticals, Nutriments and Business safety divisions doing effective research and development activities.


A Health & Safety Trainer plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety by providing training and guidance to employees on various health and safety practices, procedures, and regulations.

This role involves developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and assessing the effectiveness of the training programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct engaging and informative HSE related training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques and tools to effectively deliver training, such as presentations, handson demonstrations, and group discussions.
  • Raise awareness among employees about the potential risks of heat exposure and the early signs and symptoms of heatrelated illnesses, such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
  • Carrying out tool box talks which includes PPE usage, health & wellness topics such as hydration and safe work topics.
  • Emphasize the importance of preventive measures to mitigate heatrelated risks.
  • Reinforces safety knowledge and practices.
  • Provide guidance on how to respond effectively to heatrelated emergencies, including first aid procedures, contacting emergency services, and assisting affected individuals until help arrives.
  • Monitor employee compliance with health and safety policies and procedures during training sessions and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessment results, and observation.
  • Identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery methods, or materials and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and responsibility through ongoing communication and engagement with clients.

Qualifications

  • Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
