  • Responsibilities:
  • The RSM Delivery Center (RDC) supports RSM US and Canada assurance and tax engagement teams, risk consulting, transaction advisory, technical accounting, financial consulting, technology and management consulting by providing access to highly skilled professionals for repeatable business processes over an extended business day. The RDC is owned by RSM US which is a member of RSM International, the sixth largest global network of independent accounting, tax and consulting firms.
  • The RDC helps RSM team members across the United States and Canada be firstchoice advisors to their diverse clients. As part of our team, you will provide quality and timely assurance services for our Canada clients which include closely held and private equity controlled companies in diverse industries and with diverse organizational structures.

  • Qualifications and Minimum Entry
  • Bachelors in Commerce/MBA
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Fresher 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients

  • Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals, supervisors, and senior management in Canada on a daily basis
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients
  • Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables
  • Understanding RSM and RSM Delivery Center's line of business service offerings and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery
  • Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
  • Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work
  • Position Responsibilities
  • Audit associates provide timely, high quality client service with large and small companies in a variety of industries. They will develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand clients' businesses and challenges.

Associates serve our clients by:

  • Developing an understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industryrelated IFRS issues Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and tools
  • Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed
  • Identifying accounting and auditing issues; discussing with audit incharge to solve issues that arise
  • Assisting
