Description
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing support to patients and their families in a healthcare facility. They manage patient appointments, provide information about services and treatment options, and ensure that patients receive high-quality care.Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for patients and maintain appointment calendar
- Answer patient queries related to their health care and treatment options
- Provide information about medical procedures and payment options
- Maintain patient records and track patient progress
- Coordinate between medical staff, patients, and their families to ensure effective communication
- Work with the medical team to ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment
- Ensure compliance with medical policies and procedures
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments within the healthcare facility
Requirements:
- Graduate in any field
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration or patient care coordination
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred:
- Experience with patient care in a clinical setting
