Position description:


As the COE Lead you will be an independent contributor however support the rest of team by setting the benchmark for the function in the Connected Services team.

You will be expected to mentor, coach, unblock the other members of the team. You will be called upon to represent the function to the head of Connected Services Business and support in managing the team

You will be good fit to this position if you have a track record in launching and growing internet-based consumer services in India and are passionate about automobiles, consumer technology and scalable products

  • With Product Management to create analyze user requirements and translate into solutions that work within the constraints.
  • With developers, leadership, and other architects to bring strategic technical vision into reality
  • With User Experience teams to realize concepts, validate designs, prioritize features, and build frameworks that will increase momentum and customer delight
  • With Scrum Masters to create, prioritize and adjust sprints aligned with the company release strategy while being pragmatic and resource efficient
  • With Deep Technology teams to provide necessary insight and direction that will help assessment and feasibility of technology decisions including Intellectual property protection, technology, and services licensing
  • With Hardware & Software Engineering teams to provide clarity when they are blocked
  • With Testing Teams to accept delivery of every system and align quality to over Service SLA With Dev Ops Teams to develop and manage the SLAs for the services
RESPONSIBILITIES of COE Lead - Platform Architecture

  • You will be the principal platform architect by owning the platform architecture across requirements, delivery, and operations.
  • Support the head of the Connected Services by defining goals & success metrics with clearly measurable objectives and key results for the Platform Architecture function as well as overall Services Business
  • Lead endtoend solution design and architecture of the cloudbased platform for TVSM Connected services, with special attention to safety, regulations, data privacy compliance, and missioncritical reliability
  • Provide technical insight to product manager for prioritization and release planning
  • Drive and support process and documentation for IP protection
  • Responsible to steer and align technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and test strategies of the platform.
  • Setup, adjust and constantly refine the platform architecture process as part of the overall product lifecycle addressing the needs of all stakeholders
  • Ensure quality and effectiveness of major project plans. Assess design, risks, and alternative strategies
  • Work closely with vendor partner technical team on platform adoption, implementation, and monitoring
  • Employ user research, and analytics data to develop a deep understanding of how users engage, what matters to them and identify pain points.
  • Inspire and motivate those around you and in the external product community as you learn together what works.
  • Enable building alignment across product teams, crossfunctional partners (marketing, customer experience, etc.), and the leadership/executive team.
  • Be the leader in bringing research, analysis and integration of new mobility technologies and trends into the product.
  • Help create an environment where it is encouraged to voice ideas, concerns, and solutions to teammates.
  • Be a role model and evangelist for designing and conducting, experiments to test assumptions.
  • Help coordinate multiple projects and subteams, support aligning day to day tasks with big picture goals and drive high velocity timelines
  • Map out structural needs for internal software systems to drive streamlined communication, overall efficiency, better customer service, higher revenues, and higher retention

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with sound background in APIs, platform, web (desktop/mobile) and native apps (iOS and Android) that have been made available to developers, partners and large enterprises via selfservice documentation, developer guides and turnkey integrations
  • Worked with complexities of a largescale global platform with a focus on scalability, reliability and resiliency while maintaining exceptional quality of software
  • Rich experience in assessing, designing, development, and deployment B2C platforms at scale
  • Understanding of Agile Life Cycle and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling. Knowledge of scrum planning tools (e.g., Jira is a plus)
