Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluation of all Customer/System requirements, deriving Hardware Requirements Specification, Architecture
  • Responsible for creating hardware designs using processors and microcontrollers, schematic design, prototyping etc. as required
  • Creating and analyzing technical drawings (block diagrams)
  • Defining module level hardware requirements (f

e:
filter block, power supply block, memory block, etc.)

  • Understanding calculation and simulation results of electrical circuits and elements
  • Cooperation with international development partners and Bosch development teams (e

g:
System, Software)

  • Contribution on Hardware Software Interface specification (HSI)
  • Supporting test engineer in creating test specifications
  • Supporting acquisitions & project proposals, understanding customer needs and adjusting the hardware architectures if needed
    Technical skills:
  • Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits.
  • Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear).
  • Experience in motor control circuit design (BDC, BLDC, Motor drivers).
  • Experience in MOSFETs, Driver circuits (PMOS, NMOS, High Side, Low side, Hbridge) and current sensing circuits.
  • Knowledge in communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc.
  • Experience with CAD packages (Altium/ORCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
  • Knowledge of components selections/design, BOM preparation, thermal calculations, and spice simulations.
  • Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design.
  • Experience in preparing layout guidelines and review.
  • Experience in preparing documents like HDD, test plan, test report etc.
  • Experience in board bringup, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits.
  • Experience in using equipment's like DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, data logger.
  • Experience in system level testing and validation of electronic products.

Added Advantages:

  • Experience in BLDC driver circuits and TLE microcontroller.
  • Experience in Liion battery operated power tool development.
  • Knowledge on FMEA, reliability, DFM, DFT and DFA guidelines etc
