Job Responsibilities:_
Mandatory Imports material Planning & logistics ( End To End ), All stake holder cordination ( Supplier, CHA,FF Etc) Knowldge of EXIM Opertaion
Work as Buyer ( Imports + Domestic)which include
Supplier side working:
Calculate net demand for item requirement based on MRP
Work out schedules and send to supplier. Review supplier capacity, raw material availability, quality issues, tolling and manufacturing readiness.
Honor the Share of Business Guidelines (SOB)
Place PO on Supplier
Followup
Get material
Followup

with Stores/inspection

Make the material available on line
Timely communications with supplier and escalation in case of issues.
Maintain tracking sheet for import consignments.
Support New product development
Build good rapport with supplier.
Internal Customers
Interact with internal customers to satisfy the daily production requirements, issues etc. Ensure smooth availability of material to run the production line
Build good rapport with supplier.
Meeting Inventory Targets:
Help work out Inventory Levels, Track inventory targets, put all efforts to meet targets
Prepare and submit inventory reports
Guide coworkers in team to improve
Help/suggest and drive improvement projects, Cost reductions etc.
Excellent Communicaton skills
Experience Required:_
810 years work experience as Buyers in MNC
Technical education : DME/ BE
Knowledge of Material Management/procurement techniques like Kan-Ban, Min Max, MRP planning
Knowledge about Import opertaion Mandatory
