Understanding and interpreting the Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws and regulations

Managing and ensuring compliance with all GST requirements
Providing advice and guidance to the organization on GST matters
Developing and implementing strategies to minimize the organization's GST liabilities
Reviewing and optimizing GST processes and systems within the organization
Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with GST regulations
Liaising with external stakeholders such as tax authorities, auditors, and consultants on GSTrelated matters
Keeping uptodate with any changes in GST regulations and communicating these changes to relevant stakeholders
Training and mentoring staff on GST matters to ensure understanding and compliance
Preparing and submitting GST returns and reconciliations within the required deadlines
Handling any GSTrelated disputes, inquiries, or audits from tax authorities
Maintaining accurate and organized GST records and documentation
Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting of GST information
Keeping track of GSTrelated expenses and ensuring timely payment and reimbursement processes are in place.
