Requirements:


Experience and Education

  • Technical education, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Fluent Czech or Slovak (for Brno) and at least intermediate English (B2).
  • Cisco CCNP Security (minimum) or be able to provide equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Have 7+ experience of working on large scale global networks.
  • Be able to understand and capture business requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Be able to conduct network architecture feasibility, design, implementation and/or modify network components where necessary.

Technical Skills

Security Platforms

  • Check Point and Cisco ASA
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of using MDM/SMS/Gaia/ASDM/CLI, gateway policy updates, general gateway maintenance/upgrades.
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of Cloud Guard administration and configuration.
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of AAA/NAT/PAT/DNAT/SNAT/Policy/Twice NAT, SSL, IPSEC etc.
  • Cisco ISE
  • Basic to intermediate level experience of TACACS/RADIUS, 802.1x/NAC, VPN Posturing, maintenance/upgrades.

  • Routing and Switching
  • Intermediate to expert experience of BGP (iBGP and eBGP), OSPF, static, VRF
  • Intermediate to expert experience of VLANs, STP, clustering/stacking, PC/EC, VPC, VSS etc.
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of ISR, ASR, vEdge, Catalyst, Nexus devices.

  • AWS and Azure
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of networking components e.g. VPC/VNET, SG/NSG, VGW/NGW, FW's, LB's, Peering etc.

  • Meraki MX, Cisco/Aryaka SDWAN
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of admin/config/tshooting.

  • SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog
  • Basic to intermediate experience of using industry standard monitoring tools.

  • Capacity management and planning

  • Infrastructure (VMWare/Hyper-V)

  • Documentation (Visio, whitepapers, reporting, updating info, presentation etc).
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement and management at various levels and across cultures (internal/external customers, TAC, supplier).
  • Character (approachable, flexible, selfstarter, engaging, out of the box thinker).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong Team player with flexible mindset and can do' attitude.
  • Ability to plan out workload and take on responsibility for projects.
  • Assisting in escalation for major network related issues.
